    Any updates on MLB Network

exactly! directv offers a product i want @ a price that i am willing to pay. i'm not putting direct on a "pedestal" as was suggested by the another poster. when/if direct stops offering MLB & EI @ a reasonable (to me) price, then i'm outta there & will look for other options. seems to me that...

    Any updates on MLB Network

my point is that charlie isn't quite the principled "looking out for the customer" type that he's portrayed to be by some of his defenders on this forum. by charging full price for an incomplete EI product, he proved he's out to squeeze every penny possible from his subscribers just like direct...

    Any updates on MLB Network

we left dish for direct in january after almost 10 years so that we could get MLB & EI. i think that 1 thing that the dish defenders might not know or remember is that charlie never offered a complete EI product, just a watered down version with fewer feeds because he (still) refuses to carry...

    SportsNet New York, Now Available!

In addition to that, there's the fact that we Yankee fans have to endure the opposing team's announcers in every MLB EI game we see on Dish. Some are decent, many others are over-the-top anti-Yankee.

Not on Dish Network's MLB EI...unfortunately, the only time you see the Yankees is if the opposing team's feed is used.

    MLB Extra Innings

Call me a skeptic, but I doubt cheapskate Charlie is going to sign agreements with any of the new RSNs, given his track record. He claims that carrying these networks will raise prices for all subscribers, but currently Dish's prices are comparable to Direct, which has managed to carry YES...

    MLB Extra Innings

And Dish Network's MLB EI is especially overpriced given that they do not carry games aired by YES, MASN and now SNY and Cleveland's Sportstime Ohio. After subscribing to EI for the last 2 years with Dish, I will be saving $ this season with MLB.tv, where you can see all of the games.

I wish you were correct. I am a Yankee fan living in Boston now, and a Dish Network subscriber. I have had MLB EI for the last two seasons and I can tell you that Dish NEVER carries a YES broadcast -- every Yankee game they provide on MLB EI is the opponents feed, and if the opponents are not...
