Did u ever sell your sling box?

Doesn't seem to work for me!

I do have a Type two Tivo to try with OTA when in the Motor Home next summer. It didnt cost much and came with Lifetime. Right now it is conected to a cable box that only has basic tv.

I do have a Tivo 2 (lifetime) I thought I would try it in the Motorhome on OTA when I camping.I have it on the cable box now, and that was the big factor helping me decide against another Tivo.

I decided to go with the Genie and keep one of the HD dvr's. Thanks for all the input about the Tivo. I could have made a two year contract mistake!!

I have been thinking about getting a Tivo to use on Directv. Anyone have any suggestions?

I think I am going to be happy with what I am getting. It would be nice to replace the dish with a HD one but I an just not up to that at this time..

I am using a Motosat MHDTV. Yesterday I tried another receiver (DVR) and it work just fine except for some errors on some transponders. I switched with the first one (DVR) and also worked with the same errors on some transponders. I am not sure what causes the transponder errors or what it means?

I put my DT box in the motorhome today to get ready for some summer travel. Now this is not all that hard. cable to sat in (1 & 2) and power plug. Push a button the dish (Non HD) finds the sats ( 101/110/119)! Well not this time. Has Directv made any changes? Always worked, nothing changed from...

I can understand where you are coming from! I am in a campground that has unsecured Wifi and I am on just the fringe of the signal. So I got a outside antenna and a wireless adapter. But I am going to to take it to the next level and set up my own wifi so all my devices can be used.

That is interesting about the Vulkano product. Most of the sling boxes I am finding are not HD and are overpriced used.

Your right that is the problem. I only have it in the Motor Home when I am traveling in the summer. This summer in KY it was over 100 and that sun was shinning right across the area where the DVR is.
