    I am in exactly the same boat. And although knowing that I am not really out any money helps soften the blow, I am still very upset by this whole thing. VOOM is (was) so much better than the competition, I almost take it personally that it didn't make it. Not that this is the first time...

    This is horrible news if Voom actually shuts down! It is so much better than the other satellite providers. I especially love the ability to seamlessly switch between local OTA channels and the satellite channels, as well as having all the extra HD content. This is very upsetting.

    It looked good, but would have looked even better if they didn't blow it up to 16:9. Why can't these HD stations use the OAR?

    Are there any updates regarding the volume issue? This problem continues to drive me crazy. The variance in volume from certain channels to others is quite jarring!

    Well, not exactly true, because I continue to be impressed. I watched Michael McDonald and some of the Doobies in concert tonight. Another quality concert to be sure. And the PQ was as good as I have EVER seen!
