On the Dtivo units, it displays the current channel transponder in signal strength.. i believe Hughes units do too... but not RCA.

It is OEM.. i just restarted it, and it's back to normal, I hope the HDD isn't getting sloppy :(

Hello, I have a RCA DRD435RH and whenever I power off, the power light flashes on and off, however no video is displayed.. so I don't think the unit is actually turning on and off. Anyone know why this is happening? Thanks

I am in Nova Scotia also, I am using a 39" dish and the signal seems pretty good for me. Transponder 2 is around 90%, some of them are around 40-50%, but not many, and are still perfectly fine, except during rain. Today it was raining pretty bad, and on MTV (TP7) I still had 85% signal...
