Another way to resolve this problem is to go to the system setup menu and do a "point dish". After that the audio will be back. At least it works for me every time. One incovenience is that it will stop your active recodings first. But it is easier and quicker than rebooting the receiver.

I am also interested iin the answer for this. I am runing 942 in single mode. I notice that sometimes 942 will stuck with NO 5.1 even though the source provides it. The reason is probably because it swtches to use TV2 tuner for some reason. This happens sometimes even when DVR is not...

Hi Paraox-SJ, What is your signal strength of channel 20.1 and 20.2? I get 71 to 73 but my other channel come in fine with strength 68. Do you use diplexer or you run a separate line for your OTA? Thanks!

I like to concure on this finding. I live in Bay Area and I receive many OTA channels. I have no problems with the other channels that I used to get except channel 20-1 and 20-2 for some reason. Their signal strength is actually better than other channels I am getting. I can see the picture...

AxE, I was told by 1-800-WOW-HDTV that I need to pay $100 for the extra dish to get VOOM channels. Would a retialer waive this fee for me? I do not understand why DISH cannot use the existing dish provided by VOOM for that.

I myself is wondering what other HD channels are out there besides INHD & HDNET that we don't have???? Fox Sport Net HD (or Regional Sport Network HD). This channel is very important for a large number of subscribers in my opinion.
