Ok I've been using satelite for 2 years camping and did some reasearch lots of info on rv.net (i think thats the web site) anyway as far as I know dish is the only one to give you a rv waiver where you d/l the form (i think they call it mobile waiver) just need to send a COPY of a current...

    camping and getting locals

Yes I know that if I get 105 getting 119 is out of the question. But sometimes local news is important, I could just change it back after the local news broadcast. If I can get my locals with my 500 dish that would be cool. Sometimes I use a batt and inverter sometimes at the state parks...

    camping and getting locals

I go camping quite a bit, I do take a 500 dish and a 311 with me and have distant locals and have no problems getting 119 and most of the time 110, but 110 is not rally much on it that I watch. I would like to know if its possible to get locals in my area (good to keep an eye on the weather)...

    Installing in an RV

You don't need a phone line unless you want pay for veiw. Take one of your receivers like a 301 or 311 and you won't pay one extra penney.

    Installing in an RV

I also take mine camping with me, I found that a satillite finder 10.00 on e-bay 25.00 radio shack makes a real big differnce, with the sat finder it takes less that 5 min to set up. The sat finder really makes it easier. I have never used a level and have always hit both sats. using the sat...

    322 and phone line noise.

I have one of those connected to mine and there is a noticable hum (bad enough I wouldn't try to use as a voice line) and it work just fine for the box. I have had it for a couple of months. You can go to setup and check the phone connection if it sees it its good enough.
