Get that receiver back in your hands and send back to Dish! Your local provider clearly has not done that. Show the receipt to your local store. Could be a violation of Federal Laws. Maybe they would not want that to happen! Good Luck!

We use 2.4Ghz and found that causes an issue with our PC's Not a problem with the Apple for whatever reason. Good Luck!

When you call to "down grade" your service after the "free" premium. The charge is at least 5 bucks. Kind of sort of free. Good deal for them if you keep it. Five Bucks if you discontinue.

Go to the Dish Store (.net). Don't bother with all the want'abees on the internet. Not worth your time. Straight answers. If it can be done, they can do it or know someone who can. There is a reason why they are highly recommended by all on this forum!
