I think it is worth being able to access both C and Ku band. Living in the mountain time zone, most network shows, including nightly news, are delayed one hour. I watch NBC and ABC shows without the delay, an hour earlier than otherwise available. We watch news daily at 4:30. NBC is available...

Very clear explanation. I believe that I will be able to mount the new feedhorn at the exact position of the old one but will indeed check the measurements as a learning experience. I'll report back when I get the new Corotor.

As a newbie, I didn't understand that the Nano was different from the Mini HD SE. I have a Mini, not a nano. Would my backup satellite list therefore not work for his nano? I got my Mini HD SE from GOTCBAND.

I am new to the Amiko, just got mine last week. It came with a notice to back up the firmware immediately. While that is a good idea, I don't know why Amiko doesn't have a backup file for download on their website for situations like yours. If Amiko, your seller or KE4EST can't send you a backup...
