    Single Wire Install

One thing I like to do is just put the dish in the back of the house. Shot the cable into the attic vent and drop them down into the onq. Makes for a cleaner install

    Single Wire Install

Ya you will be fine as long as the cabling in your house is all 3 ghz . You can have 2 lines off the dish to the node. Node would go in the tv can where the two service lines are. One cable off the node to the onq to a tap. Off the tap one cable going to the hopper. Another cable off the tap...

    No signal after standby

Could be bad/old/crap cable... bad connections or the reciever or lnbf may be going out. You should get a tech out there to check it out.

    Upgrade to 722 or 922?

I defenitly do not recommend "upgrading " to a 722/722k. When your 622 dies or "has problems" . Get a service change set up the tech will be able to replace it with a 722 no problem if he has one. We haven't had 622s at the warehouse for about a year or so.

    Upgrade to 722 or 922?

The 722 has an ant in. (one extra tuner for an off air ant) 722 k doesn't have a built in ant in. But you can get the "add on" ota mod that slides into a port on the back that rec that gives you 2 extra ant tuners.

    Remote Question

The remote that comes with a 222/222k will work on those recs. It's a 21.0 remote which can be set between adress 1-25 I wanna say. If you want to program it to a 322,311,512 iam pretty sure they only accept a adress code between 1-15. Any ways if you want to syc a 21.0 remote up with a 322 tv1...

    No signal after standby

Did you do this install yourself? When you run the check switch test what lnbf/switch does it say you are using? If it is a DPP lnbf/switch At the back of your receiver you should also have a silver seporator(looks like a spliter) which connects to both sat inputs. It kinda makes me think you...

Bad Dish UHF remote or just limitations of remote?

If you have a few cable jumpers or can make them and two spliter/combines lying around.. Make 3 short jumpers. Run one off uhf ant out on back of rec Run one off tv2 out on back of receiver Both going into the "outs" on a spliter. Run the 3rd jumper off the "in" off the spliter to the uhf/vhf...

Dish Rated as Worst Company to Work For by Employees

It's getting bad for dish employees... Moral is at an all time low.. 7 years ago I was sooo excited and proud to work for this company. I recommend a friend to come work for dish. Would I today...HELL NO . About 4-5 years ago was when they started changing pretty drastically. But it made...

Hopper working with RG59 run throughout house

+1 If you can't get the rg6 to where the hopper is just put the hopper in one of the other room that you know you can get it to. Then you will have a solid set up. The hopper/joey system is so screwy . I would never run the hopper on 59 I wouldn't be suprized if you started seeing intermiting...

    Tip the Installer?

The tech will definitely not be expecting a tip. You can tell when u get a tech that wants to actully help u out or not. If you get some one that is willing to help you out , help him out . Being a tech for dish now a days is a pain in the ass . Tech have to put up with a lot of crap. If you...
