Thanks I'm really considering a Bolt. So, if I can build a desktop I can replace the drive in a TIVO? I "assume" there are special drives you would need to buy and there are size limits? My rental costs on equipment are really high. I feel it would pay for itself soon enough.

I have no real TIVO experience. What is the advantage to buying the larger drive on the TIVO since you can add an external hard drive?

That's a pretty good deal. The original router they offered you wasn't the Quantum I don't think. It is an updated version of the one you had. It is orange in color. I have one of those in my basement because I owned it and bought the Quantum router.

I have been considering TIVOs to replace my FIOS boxes. Does anyone else use them and do you find any problems with using them.

I'm waiting to see what you have to say about the picture quality. I currently have FIOS as well. but the offers out there are looking really good.
