    Setting up a C-band Dish

    The surface area of a 6ft dish is quite large. Even if the dish is mesh and not solid any small amount of wind can be quite powerful. A pole with concrete in the ground really is best.

    Smaller dishes require a strong transponder signal. Be better off using a larger dish if you can to allow for rain fade and signal strength variation.

    Intelsat 11 43w c-band channels

    According to lyngsat there's a few Spanish channels and every thing else is encrypted or in DVB-S2.
