    HR34 Sluggish

Wouldn't they see that as a receiver upgrade and want to charge the customer?

    2 hoppers

So can two Hoppers actually talk to each other now....see each other's recordings? I was looking online for that and found some (obviously, might be old info) that said they couldn't talk to each other.

No Plan to add TruTv Hd etc.

I've also emailed them regarding the additional HD channels. I specifically mentioned, E!, Hint(H2), TruTV. What the OP got was a canned response. I got that same response verbally too when they called me to discuss my email. LOL I made it clear that if they don't have the channels I want in...

Questions about the new XiP Receivers?

I know this thread is almost a month old since last reply but, from what I can tell reading some posts. You can have more then one 813 and a x amount of 110? My ideal setup right now would be 2 813s and 1 110. I would like to be able to sit at any TV in the house and watch a program that is...

    Multi-Room Viewing

Does Dish Network offer a service that is like DirecTV's Whole-Home DVR/Multi-Room Viewing? I have three TVs. Two HD DVRs and a HD Receiver. I can watch any of the shows recorded on EITHER DVRs from any room in the home. My HD Receiver can record shows on either of the two DVRs but...

    Dish and ESPN

I'm quite sure there is some contractual stipulation that prevents ESPN being pulled from core packages. I think that very issue has actually come up before when ESPN prices were being talked about.

    Dish and ESPN

Possibly, but, ESPN is what costs the most as well. Also, most of the networks, if not all, don't have overpaid game players. Also, I wouldn't object to the high priced sports channels being all lumped together in a separate sports package. I do agree that pulling all together probably...

    Dish and ESPN

Well, I will say I'm not a sports fan. I realize I'm in the minority here. However, I should not have to subsidize someone who is a sports fan so they can have the channel in the regular line up driving up the cost for everyone. I shouldn't also have to help pay for the over-the-top salaries...

    February 2011 Price Increases

Sounds about right. That aside, what the hell are they talking about $6 for the first two receivers?

    February 2011 Price Increases

So I should see a total increase of $2 total for additional receiver fees ($1 more for each extra box). The confusing part is when they talk about $6 for the first two receivers.

    February 2011 Price Increases

I'm still confused on the additional receiver fee. Right now, I have 3 receivers. One is included in the package price and then I'm paying $5 for each 2nd and 3rd receivers. Can someone explain what my fees will be now with this?

    DISH Service in Seattle, WA

Thanks for the replies. So it still looks like 110,119 and 129. The last time I checked into DISH 129 was kind of I guess wobbly or had its issues. They wanted a second dish for it. Did they replace it?

    DISH Service in Seattle, WA

Thanks for the replies. I wasn't sure 129 was still being used or not. That is the one sat I might have problems with. There is only one place that a dish can go and LoS at 129 might be an issue. I will see what they say.

    DISH Service in Seattle, WA

Can anyone tell me what the latest setup that DISH uses for service in Seattle, WA...zipcode 98106. Specifically, the 250 channel package with HD/DVR. I was wondering what satellite would need to be used and what orbital locations would I need view of to get this particular setup. Any info is...
