Wouldn't they see that as a receiver upgrade and want to charge the customer?

So can two Hoppers actually talk to each other now....see each other's recordings? I was looking online for that and found some (obviously, might be old info) that said they couldn't talk to each other.

I've also emailed them regarding the additional HD channels. I specifically mentioned, E!, Hint(H2), TruTV. What the OP got was a canned response. I got that same response verbally too when they called me to discuss my email. LOL I made it clear that if they don't have the channels I want in...

Does Dish Network offer a service that is like DirecTV's Whole-Home DVR/Multi-Room Viewing? I have three TVs. Two HD DVRs and a HD Receiver. I can watch any of the shows recorded on EITHER DVRs from any room in the home. My HD Receiver can record shows on either of the two DVRs but...

I'm quite sure there is some contractual stipulation that prevents ESPN being pulled from core packages. I think that very issue has actually come up before when ESPN prices were being talked about.

Possibly, but, ESPN is what costs the most as well. Also, most of the networks, if not all, don't have overpaid game players. Also, I wouldn't object to the high priced sports channels being all lumped together in a separate sports package. I do agree that pulling all together probably...

Well, I will say I'm not a sports fan. I realize I'm in the minority here. However, I should not have to subsidize someone who is a sports fan so they can have the channel in the regular line up driving up the cost for everyone. I shouldn't also have to help pay for the over-the-top salaries...

So I should see a total increase of $2 total for additional receiver fees ($1 more for each extra box). The confusing part is when they talk about $6 for the first two receivers.

I'm still confused on the additional receiver fee. Right now, I have 3 receivers. One is included in the package price and then I'm paying $5 for each 2nd and 3rd receivers. Can someone explain what my fees will be now with this?

Thanks for the replies. So it still looks like 110,119 and 129. The last time I checked into DISH 129 was kind of I guess wobbly or had its issues. They wanted a second dish for it. Did they replace it?

Thanks for the replies. I wasn't sure 129 was still being used or not. That is the one sat I might have problems with. There is only one place that a dish can go and LoS at 129 might be an issue. I will see what they say.
