Consider yourself lucky. Most people can not get a signal with RG-59. I had to change mine out to RG-6. The 59 cable left me dead in the water.

The sat companies need to inform the customer better of what is actually included in the "free" install. It can be mis-leading.

It is over and done now, I got the 486. Hooked up the component cables and it works just fine. I would say a slight improvement over s-video but an improvement none the less. I am satisfied.

It will be a couple of years before a HD set hits my house so I may just get the standard RCA receiver. My TV has component connections and I can get the RCA with comp. connections but I may wait until I get the HD set.
