    I wonder if any of the debt holders were on the call? Holding 1.6b in debt would warrant a seat at the table. Any way you look at this it'll be a while before this goes through.

    Almost success. The H3 has only restarted twice so far. I still have about 50 shows to go. I did add thermal paste to the heat sync and that seems to slow the frequency of reboots but didn’t cure that problem.

    At this point it’s more of an experiment than a solution. Saving my wife’s recordings is my priority. 😁

    Possibly. Not sure if the loose heat sync is the culprit but it sure seems likely.

    So I’ve decided to extract the old HD and use a SATA to USB to connect to the new H3. I opened the old H3 and this is what I found. 🤨

    I don’t have a Linux box so that’s out. I’ll check into accessing the internal HD so maybe hope.

    No. I disconnected all devices. When connecting via Ethernet one of the Hoppers won’t be connected to the dish. How does that work?

    Hopper keeps rebooting so have a new one coming. My question is there any way to transfer recordings from the old Hoppers HD if it won’t stay booted?

    Thanks Brittany. I connected to the tailgater and the signal was up within 5 minutes. Amazing what the correct software will do. 😜
