    I have a 3TB Seagate hard drive connected to my Hopper, and it seems to be working fine.. the problem I am having is that there seems to be a limitation of 2 external drives which can be connected at one time. If I connect more than 2, they will show up in the "Transfer Recordings" section...

    Yeah, a couple of months ago I was at Walmart and saw the employees hooking up a Bluray player to an HDTV with a composite cable. I pointed out that they should hook it up with component or HDMI to get a good picture, and they just said, "we have no idea what we're doing" and left it hooked up...

    I would think that you can have the "Best of XM" if you want to pay the $4.00 per month for it, though. I'm in the same boat, I have 2 lifetime subscriptions.

    when will dish fix HDMI on the 612?

    Have they ever fixed the HDMI connector on the 622? On my 622 all you had to do was basically touch the HDMI connector and it would break. They used a surface mount connection, so the process of plugging on the cable was enough to break it.
