While watching a channel push MENU Scroll down to "Reserve Record/Play" Push OK Their you will be able to pick what channel u want to record. It still is limited to one satellite though.

Yes, replacing a battery won't give you a valid ID number, but it will keep all programmed satellites in memory after loss of power. It only cost me 8 dollars for the battery and replaced it myself. I left the VC II cage out of mine, unit is lighter and runs cooler.

Dont expect the Norsat to last as long as the GI. I don't know about anyone else, but I can't get 10 years out of the Norsat. 5 years of the the Norsat ku, 6 years out of the C-Band.

I was watching RTN this morning and noticed when the station identification came on, it said RTV. I watched a little this afternoon and it had an annoying "RTV" logo in the corner. Does anyone know if they changed their name? I really hate that logo crap, it was refreshing to watch a channel...
