Probably would not have to go as high as congress.. the FCC already "gives" the networks the airways for free, they do have to pay some fees but not a direct user rate. It would seem that them selling something that is already given to them should not truly be allowed. No question about it...

82% sounds like a lot, until you think of it being 82/100's of a penny... or, less than $.30 per month.. so, that's going to give someone the bright idea of increasing our entire bill by 82%? This whole thing is BS laden upon BS from both sides! Comon folks.. Dish charges.. what... about...

Certainly seems like a fair price to me.. Wonder what Fish is actually asking?? Even though one would wonder why a "broadcast" station would care a wit if someone rebroadcast their signal, thereby, gaining their audience numbers.. but.. If disputed fees are in that range, I can't see how $.30...

It's almost like a guy selling hot dogs from a cart.. he's got a sign up that says... "Hot Dogs 50 cents..." but the problem is, he don't have no dogs on board the cart. Kind of sounds like they are rethinking Turbo HD and would like us to become dissatisfied with it and change to some other package that would cost more. The ONLY reason I went with Dish unstead of Direct was Turbo HD.... This is completely off the unreasonable chart IMHO... Bad Dish...

When I signed up, I was told that "any new non preimum HD offerings would automatically be included in the THD Gold package... Surprising that they would NOT include HD version if available.. maybe they forgot to pay the bill? :cool:
