I just did a Google search for the Hopper Snap and a result came up for Dow Electronics. They say they have Hopper Snaps in stock for $5.00. Guess only dealers can get it though.

I got an email something like this months ago and I downloaded it on my own. I then emailed them back asking if this was a joke, about it being an upgrade and an improvement for my Hopper 2000. Since Dish knows I have a Hopper 2000, they should know this was actually a downgrade in performance...

I agree. I used to search for science fiction movies and it would return about 100 results every time. Now if I search for "science fiction", I get about 3 or 4 results for movies with "science fiction" in the title. Kind of useless!

Just chatted with Dish and they said I could upgrade to a hopper 3. Three or four days ago it was a no go. Don't know what changed. There will be a $95 service call charge and a $3.00 a month increase.

Just got a response from a DIRT member, about an upgrade to a Hopper 3, that said, "Sorry for the delay in response. It shows that we are unable to upgrade your equipment at this time. Please check back in 48 hours to see if we are able to upgrade your equipment then." Has anyone gotten this...

Sounds good. I am not complaining, just stating what's happening. I am not in a big hurry.
