The 1000.2 will not work with the Eastern Arc satellites. To stay with just one dish, I had the old dish replaced with a 1000.4. You'll receive everything that you did off the previous dish plus your local HD's.

My reading off TP30 on 61.5 is 43. I do receive some HD coming off TP22 on 61.5. These channels are coming in fine and have a signal strength of 41. Sounds like someone blacked out your reception of the game in Vermont, a situation I see here all the time with various sports events...

So the problem rests with the local stations and not Dish? As I see it, that's what we pay Dish the locals fee every month unless the locals are getting a little too greedy.

The local stations are advertiser supported so I really don't see why Dish should have to subsidize the stations anything. I'll bet a few calls to some of the major local advertisers would get the signal out on Dish in a hurry.
