IMHO, Voom must continue to provide service pending the fcc decision. What if the fcc says no to the sale of the satellite frequencys? That bird wouldn't be worth much by itself if voom was already shut down. But, if Voom is still growing, it could possibly attract some investors.

I had the same problem with the caller ID showing past caller. I corrected this problem by power cycling the STB for a couple of minutes. You have to turn the feature back on after reseting the box by either the power button or power cycling. --Steve

The sparkles are the worst I've seen since June. They were virtually gone in August but have progressively gotten worse since then. I noticed that they mainly affect the red and green color channels.

I hope they have re-considered self installs. If Voom insists on sending an installer to deliver the DVR they would be wasting a lot of time and money they could use else ware. My guess is that many of you are like myself and installed your own STB's while the installer assembled the antenna...
