I'm interested in upgrading to the H3. My Hopper with Sling has had hard drive issues and I've been trying to hold out until the Hopper 3 ships. I have a HWS, Hopper 2000, and 3 wireless Joeys. Thanks!

Okay, I'm moved into the new house and off pause...Thanks for the suggestion ChadT41. I have two Hoppers, no Joeys right now and would like to add three Joeys. If possible, I would like to change out my older Hopper 2000 (with Sling dongle) to a HWS too. Thanks, Steve

I'm moving to a house that isn't yet finished, need to suspend service for about a month-and-a-half, and I have 2 Hoppers, no Joeys. I would like to find out about upgrading one of the Hoppers to HWS at the same time.

Thanks for posting this thread with instructions to disable HDMI-CEC. I had to disable the HDMI Control because I use the Hopper for 2 TVs. One is through the HDMI into a Denon 1912 and then a Panasonic plasma. But I also use the component cables for a bedroom tv. The Panasonic does a great job...

I got that email too, when switching from a 722k with OTA/MT2 card to a Hopper. I wondered the same thing. Now, I have been foiled twice trying to get an OTA tuner for the Hopper. OOS today, too.

Wow, that's pretty clever that they'll talk over the network--even play content...I have been pretty impressed with this Hopper technology. I suppose I will have to block communication within the router software or set up a separate network for the in-law suite. I already have a Wireless Bridge...

We are actually converting it from a rental unit to an in-law suite. It's on the same property; just a separate structure with the garage, about 20 feet from the main house.

I have one Hopper already, it (the entire store) just disappears when you have an order pending. The warning shows this: "You have an open appointment, please complete your request after your appointment is complete." I tried calling, and the CSR also can't process an order--even for a small...

I went ahead and ordered 1H/1J...I didn't want to wait for an OTA tuner--as installation wasn't available until 1/24--but now I can't order that until the order is complete.

Thanks guys, that sounds like what I need. What is the difference in cost per month then (between extra 211k and Hopper)? Is there an additional DVR fee for the second Hopper? Also, how can I get them to add a second Hopper? Would I have to tell them I want two more Joeys and then decline the...

The same switch that would allow a 211k? That might be easier I suppose. I already have the EHD enable fee paid for the 211k, so that might make the most sense. And be cheaper monthly.
