Thanks for posting this thread with instructions to disable HDMI-CEC. I had to disable the HDMI Control because I use the Hopper for 2 TVs. One is through the HDMI into a Denon 1912 and then a Panasonic plasma. But I also use the component cables for a bedroom tv. The Panasonic does a great job...

I got that email too, when switching from a 722k with OTA/MT2 card to a Hopper. I wondered the same thing. Now, I have been foiled twice trying to get an OTA tuner for the Hopper. OOS today, too.

Wow, that's pretty clever that they'll talk over the network--even play content...I have been pretty impressed with this Hopper technology. I suppose I will have to block communication within the router software or set up a separate network for the in-law suite. I already have a Wireless Bridge...

The same switch that would allow a 211k? That might be easier I suppose. I already have the EHD enable fee paid for the 211k, so that might make the most sense. And be cheaper monthly.

There have always been audio problems with a satellite local here in Bozeman, MT (18-00, ABC) since Dish added the locals in our market many years ago. The issue has been intermittent, but the audio judders and gets way out of sync, so that sometimes you can't even make out what's being said...

I had an EHD issue on the switch from the 722k to the Hopper. Matt on the DIRT team helped out, though. He sent a hit to the receiver, still didn't work. The drive had a 400GB Windows partition in addition to a 500GB Dish partition. After deleting the Windows partition, the Hopper saw the EHD...

Any help/solution on this? I also can't get the 40.0 remote to work with my Denon, even with the lookup function on the Hopper (AVR-1912 is listed). It will only turn the Denon off, nothing else. All my other Dish remotes have worked with my Denon Receivers. Thanks!

Thanks, that's what I was hoping. I didn't want the installer there for hours anyway. So, I just need to wait until after the Hoppers are installed to get on MyDish.com and order the OTA (or two)?
