If Dish is still not rewarding loyal customers in August 2016, I will switch back to DirecTV. A corporation's only loyalty is to its stockholders -- not to its customers -- so customers have no obligation to be loyal to corporations.

Because DTV does not reward loyal customers, I switched back to Dish in August 2014.

Because Dish does not reward loyal customers, I switched to DirecTV in August 2012.

I was a Dish Network subscriber from 1998 to August 2012.

I'm a retired mainframe computer programmer.

I know just enough about PC's to be dangerous.

In my retirement community, people come to me for help with their PC problems because "In the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is King."

I watch too much television, but I could have worse addictions.

I have a PS3, but I use it only as a Blu-Ray player. I've never played a game on it.

My avatar is a picture I took on my patio. Over the years, we have found 30+ scorpions inside our house.

    Pickleball, hiking, movies, travel, TV.

    Signature

“I used to think that it was awful that life was so unfair. Then I thought, wouldn’t it be much worse if life were fair, and all the terrible things that happen to us come because we actually deserve them? So now I take great comfort in the general hostility and unfairness of the universe.”
