    NBC on demand doesn't work

At least it doesn't for us trying to watch American Ninja Warrior. We have tried several different episodes as well and two different Rokus (a new Premiere model and a 3 model that is connect with ethernet). I have 100Mbit internet service and tests show it isn't the issue. Each time the...

What's your Sling TV monthly bandwidth usage?

How are you seeing your monthly usage with Charter?

SLING TV Begins Cloud DVR Beta

Well it's $200 for the unit and $150 for the lifetime guide sub so that puts you at $350 -- then you still need to purchase a USB drive and a streaming device (like Roku, FireTV, etc.) So it's really makes it no cheaper than the $400 TiVo option that the poster didn't like. That said, Tablo...

Join the Sling TV Cloud DVR Beta

We were an early adopter with Sling TV and I tried my best, but my wife just couldn't accept the lack of DVR so we switched to a Charter bundle (TV + internet) earlier this year. If Sling TV's DVR service is decent, I would switch back to them in a heartbeat (and try their Blue package this...

    3 day replay?

Well, we did end up leaving Sling TV earlier this year because of the issue I outlined above. I see now they are about start beta testing a Cloud DVR -- that sounds like something that could lure us back to Sling TV.

Wow, intro deals keep getting worse and worse

Yes, but I am having trouble getting a clear picture of what all is in each pack; I keep getting "Sorry we are having trouble...try again" errors on their website. That said I think they have spread the channels around in such a way that it wouldn't make sense for a family like mine.

Wow, intro deals keep getting worse and worse

I do expect some ebb and flow with deals, but they seem to just be trending to get worse and worse. Like I said, maybe DISH is focusing more on retaining customers now. By starting this thread, I had hoped people would chime in to confirm or deny that theory. All I know is my past experience...

Despite what you think, you don't know much of anything about me. Congrats on acting like a jerk!

Wow, intro deals keep getting worse and worse

Are they? I can no longer find the "normal" pricing on their website. That makes it really hard to compare.

Wow, intro deals keep getting worse and worse

That isn't what I am thinking -- instead it is giving me a bad vibe with DISH.

Wow, intro deals keep getting worse and worse

Every time I consider coming back to DISH, I look at their intro-pricing deals and surprisingly they keep getting worse and worse. When I first looked, it was 2-year lock at $50/month (for the 120+ package) and that included DVR service. Then it went to a 3-year lock but the price no longer...

Dish is ultra aggressive to keep customers

They never offered it but would have only accepted with a 12-month contract (or less).

Dish is ultra aggressive to keep customers

Nope, not when adding TV to my Charter internet effectively gave me a lower price!!! That and I read about DISH offering much better deals to a lot of other people. I had been with them for over 7 years, never paid late, perfect credit, and had been out of contact for at least couple years...

Dish is ultra aggressive to keep customers

WOW -- the best they would offer me was $15 off for 24 months (or $25/off for 10 months). Oh well, I decided to leave... Did they call you with that offer or did you call them?

How are you liking Sling TV?

See below for info on which channels have replay and on demand. The biggest pain with that stuff -- and what will likely cause me to leave SlingTV -- is that if you get part way through a show and then have to stop watching it (or in my wife's case you fall asleep) then you want to watch it...
