I had a similar problem when I hooked up my 622. One of the cables was bad. I only figured it out by running a new piece of cable and then I tested the previous cable and found it was bad. Try new fittings on your 100' of cable and if that does not work, try running a new piece of cable.

I've had my 622 connected via HDMI for about three weeks now with out any problems. It is the "D" version.

I have the same problems with all of the HD channels broadcast from 129. I think it is due to the weak signal strength from that bird. I get frequent pixelation and occasional picture drop. I have not noticed any difference between 1080i and 720p. I don't have a 622, just two 211's.

I have a 1000 and two 211's.. Signal strength on 129 is primarily between 60 & 70, but a few TP's are in the 80's. I get frequent pix-elation. My picture quality has suffered since the switch to 129.

If your new receiver has been installed already, read the Dish'n it Up paperwork they had you sign (It is the contract) and it will probably say something about a pro-rated cancellation fee for a specific number of months if you terminate, downgrade, or diconnect services. That is the commitment.

Just got two leased 811's upgraded to VIP 211's yesterday. Multiple calls had to be made to get them activated. They look great. I don't have OTA because I get absolutely no signal where I live. However, even the Dish SD Locals look better with these receivers! :)

I spoke with Dish Tech last night. They said a bulletin they received says that only the new HD channels will be up on Feb 1. LA and NY network locals are supposed to go up on Feb 2 if every thing goes right. Atlanta, Boston and Chicago will go up sometime after that.
