According to an Archos tech (sent my Pocketdish in for repair) the pocketdish is being phased out and only Archos models will be sold.

My records on the 622 keep winding up recorded in 2 parts and when I check the reason on the schedule it says recording stopped due to STB Reboot. I have no idea what this means-anyone know?

I just got the av500 and looked at a few different brands but was hoping for a personal recommendation. Any suggestions?

I own a 921 and I would like to buy an mpeg4 dvr for $99 and keep the 921 for sd use in another room. Wonder if they'll let me do that or make me trade in the 921?

Pocketdish vs I went to Sound Advice today and looked at the Archos AV700 which is similar to pocketdish-just to get a feel for what the thing is and how it works. I was disappointed in the display-had to tilt it to see and it doesnt have a kickstand. Also couldnt get the audio up loud enough...

You need to re-boot. Sounds like its confused. I record OTA, cable channel and watch something I recorderd-all at the same time. If a reboot doesn't fix it, you need to call dish. Maybe the unit is broken.

My only complaint is that if they are offering a free install to new customers, they should give the same thing to current customers. Why subs who have been loyal to them for many years be given less than subs who are just coming aboard and chose another company over Dish for all these years...

Called Dish (I am a sub to both Dish and Voom).Called the number on the voom guide and was told that the price of the hd package is going to be adjusted to $15. monthly (thats up from $10). All 10 channels will automatically show up on May 1st on the Dish equipment I currently own.
