    thanks for the quick reply .. i just tried it out -- worked really good ... really good -- i think the colors became a little too intense though . i will have to mess with that a bit -- but took away all the lines. everyone sure this wont mess anything up? thanks mike

    i just want to amplify my cable signal (runs over 100 ft from my main house) -- I bought an inline amplifier, but was wondering if it can damage the TV at all? -- dont want to flush money down the toilet

    I called dish to get put on that waiting list for the 811 and then checked my credit card online...oh ya, they charged me even though I didnt agree to any payment and made it 'clear' to them on the phone I didnt want to be charged for anything! awesome

    j allen i am on the list with you! i called 2 weeks ago to be put on it...then i called again today and was put on the same 4-6 week list. so...its the 4-8 week list i guess if its march by time they come out here...no deal

    I called dish again today --0 said 4-6 weeks also called radio shack and went to sears around here..both didnt have it and radio shack said they dont even offer the 811. looks like im SOL, at least for a while!

    Called Dish up and they tell me unless I order that $999 package deal, I have to wait 4-6 weeks to get the 811 receiver and whole setup. Whats up with this...no HD for me! anyone hear about this or have a similar problem?

    ya, i just talked to them on the phone.. .they said right now i live in a location (due to being in the middle of nowhere) where i am not elligible for the free moving program. it is because pegasus provides me with service and not directv directly. oh well i need to look into STB's for OTA...
