No customer can have two 625's or 522's on their account. The csr software won't even let you do it. I assume this is the case even if you buy the dvr, but the 522 nor the 625 are supposed to be available for anything other than lease.

to get the 322 to work with only one input you'd have to first hook it up to both so it can do the inital sw d/l. without both it won't d/l. then you'd have to d/c one and run a check switch. and keep the 2nd tuner turned off, doing this......you shouldn't have any problems.

Just like Kevin Said, the 322 will work just fine with the 64, but make sure you have both sat in cables hooked up, even if you are only using one tuner, or else i won't download software.

As long as the Check Switch is coming out ok, you should be fine. Factory Software on the dual tuners can do some really screwy stuff, especailly with switches and seperators.

If you can get the East Coast Feed, you are eligable to recieve the West Coast Feeds too. If you are approved for a waiver for a network, you can pick from any of the available feeds.

All activating the reciever on their account would do, is keep you from activating it on your account. And even that can be fixed if the issue is documented by dish on your account, so you can give teh R00 and S00 numbers to anyone.

You could add on the Dish Home Protection Plan........It's $5.99/month. With that you'd only have to pay $29 for a tech and all equipment is covered. So you'd definetly get the issue fixed and only be out $29 upfront, and if you don't want the DHPP you can cancel it at ANY TIME.

They are yours, do what you want. If they were leased dish would have sent you boxes to send them back. If you don't work a deal with dodge, just sell them. Dish sells them new for $99 + S&H, you could probably get about $50 a piece out of them.
