    Since there is competition between Optimum and T-Mobile Fiber (MetroNet) here, and most customers are clueless as to the technology behind their ISP connection, I have stopped recommending T-Mobile to my neighbors in order to cut down on the oversubscription, unless they ask for my opinion.

    HR24-100 not updating software

    The HR24-100 is up on the satellite now. It's on TPN 25, which is normal for that model. They don't waste transponder bandwidth for old models that no longer get firmware updates very often.

    If I remember right, it only did that when it had no connection to a Gemini server or a WVB. I haven't felt like resetting my Gemini to duplicate that.
