    Dish in "My" RV

Dish sent one. I tried to get a local, but because my account wasn't through them they sent me to corporate.

    Dish in "My" RV

Finally was able to get a tech out to the RV. It turns out (kinda what I suspected in the first place) that my 222 was bad.

    Dish in "My" RV

I'm a snowbird that subscribes to Dish. I use a Dish1000 mounted on a tripod when at my destination. While on the road I use my Winegard crank-up dish and usually aim for the Nimiq5. This is the first time I've had a problem that I didn't think I could fix and wonder--why is it such a problem to...

Is this the place to be if I want to ask a question of the DIRT team?

Dish Anywhere & a Blu Ray player

I think I've made this more confusing than I intended. When I said "scheduling conflicts" I meant two shows on different channels at the same time. For me the monthly price of a DVR is not economical considering the fact that I'm not amassing a library of shows or movies or sports for viewing...

Dish Anywhere & a Blu Ray player

By logging into my dish account on my laptop I'm able to go to Dish Anywhere and then networks and stream programs. In doing that I'm using my TV as the screen of my laptop by way of an HDMI cable. Its this connection I'm trying to do away with.

Dish Anywhere & a Blu Ray player

What is an STB? I'm to cheap to get a DVR or Hopper, and all I want to do is be able to stream a program I miss because of scheduling conflicts. I can do that with Dish Anywhere and my laptop, but it is a pain in the but to connect to the TV every time.

Dish Anywhere & a Blu Ray player

Can you stream your Dish Network channels with a ROKU?

Dish Anywhere & a Blu Ray player

Can I use ROKU to stream my Dish Network channels or is there an extra fee?

Dish Anywhere & a Blu Ray player

I want to get a Blu Ray player with streaming capabilities to stream some of the channels to my TV. Any suggestions? I currently stream programs I can't watch live because of scheduling conflicts thru my laptop, but its a hassle hooking up an extra HDMI cable each time.

    Problems with Dish Anywhere

But DA works when using the main site and a Windows based operating system. To truly be "dish anywhere" I should not need a "hopper" or DVR to stream a network program. When I go to the main DA site I can access networks on the mobile site that isn't an option. And the network I wanted to watch...

    Problems with Dish Anywhere

Its been awhile since I've been on the forum, so if this topic has been discussed elsewhere please send me in the right direction. This past weekend I attempted to stream The Masters on my tablet using the "dish anywhere" app. I was unable to do so because I don't have a Hopper or DVR receiver...

WHAT IS BETER FOR CAMPING, DISH

I have used both a dish500 and a 1000.4. The 500 was the easier to aim but didn't include all the HD channels (altho it did pick up th SD versions). The 1000.4 took more time to aim but got me all my HD channels. Locals weren't a problem as my MH was equiped to pick up OTA and I just switched...

    September Bill (Slightly) Higher

And it was probably started by someone that was retired and looking for a discount from some working stiff. My uncle owned some rental cottages in Florida back in the 70's. He was constantly getting calls from people wanting to come for the winter. When a rate was quoted, the caller would...

    September Bill (Slightly) Higher

Some one on an annual salary is on a fixed income for that period, whether or not they can re-negotiate for another period, its still fixed. And someone on social security has, until the past two years, annual cost of living increases which may not be available to the above mentioned salaried...
