Does anyone know if the optical digital can be split using an optical splitter? My xbox and dvd player, can, for instance, both use the splitter, but my comcast box can not be split! So I have to use its' coax audio. If the HR20 doesn't have coax out I'm not sure how I'll split it.

Comcast has dedicated keys too, but also lets you use the arrows so that you don't have to shift your hand to get at all the main features. Plus the universal remote that I have doesn't have that many keys so I can use the dedicated FF/RW buttons to learn other seldom-used commands. Everyone...

I mean, with any directv remote, do the arrow keys double as the FF,RW,Pause, Stop buttons and the OK=play?? I'm accustomed to that from comcast.

well that's just silly. So if I want to use the RF function in two rooms I have to buy a completely new universal RF remote.

gpg. Okay. The previous poster made it seem that if you got the sports pack with EI you didn't need to get superfan since you already had YESHD games.

gpg. Jeez. So you are saying that in order to watch hd games for my favorite team out of market I need to spend over $300 a season? (including MLB: EI, Superfan, & Sports pack for 6 mo.) And this is on top of the $10 a month HD access?
