    322 reboots almost every night

Is there any way to set the 322 to manual update? I wouldn't mind telling it to update every couple of days. You are right. I'm recording on an external DVR. It records whatever is playing. In this case it's a bouncing DishNetwork logo. I'd like to take the moment to thank everyone for...

    322 reboots almost every night

That's an interesting workaround. Not a perfect solution, but if the auto tune on the reciever will knock out the screen saver, it'll work. Unfortunatly it'll be a bit before I can try to see if it works. Thanks

    322 reboots almost every night

I don't know. I might want that headache. Otherwise, I'll be spending hundreds on a new system. How can I set it to manual? I've looked and don't see any way to do so. Seems there must be a time in place. And again, thanks for your time and patience with these answers.

    322 reboots almost every night

And again, it does not recover from the reboot. I get the screen saver type application with the Dish Network logo bouncing around until someone turns the tv on and hets the select button. Until then any recording that is done will be of that screen saver. We're lost days of recordings due to...

    322 reboots almost every night

Thanks again. Using that screen, I can change the time it checks for updates. But why is it shutting down the system? Does everyone's unit shut down once a day when it checks for updates, unless they are there to tell it No or Cancel? If so, then maybe I'm just too particular. Then again...

    322 reboots almost every night

Thanks for the help. But that appears to be a different message. That one states - shut down for inactivity. Mine states power down for important upgrades.

    322 reboots almost every night

I've a Dishnetwork 322. At least almost every night it comes up with a message that states - The system will now power down to check for important system upgrades. Select "No" or "Cancel" to continue viewing TV. It is message number 513. The system then reboots and ends up with a screen saver...

    HELP!!!!!!

I just went thru the learning experiece you are hoping to. I found mucho info at Sadouns site under the tab for setup support. Including the directions for the dish setup and an explanation of the DishPro product. It helped me greatly. That and a couple of pointers from the folks on here and I...

Using the directions, I was ablt to work towards getting a signal. A couple of bumps in the road. The directions called for using 105 as part of the setup. Not. I used Sadoun's direction finder, Dish's sat finder (peak angle on installation screen) and the angles listed in the SuperPro...

I checked the voltage going out from the Proadapter towards the switch. It's just under 20 volts. The voltage coming out of the receiver, to the PRoadapter, is 13 on odd, 18 on even. And I've just found, on the Sadoun site, the manual for installing my dish and a document explaining the DishPro...

    swap out a DSK4261D for a DSB2060R ?

I've problems with my sat setup. Problem may be a bad receiver. While I'm waiting to test the voltage output, I dug an old receiver we had bought with the original purchase but never used, out of the closet. Something in memory says this unit was an additional unit only and could not be used...

I'll check the receiver output. There is some voltage getting up to the dish, as the sat finder meter worked. It requires voltage to light up and provide audio. Plus, I was able to peak the signal by adjusting the dish. (although the dish ended up where it was originally.) Thanks for the...

Today ran another RG6U cable from the satellite to the receiver, just for testing sake. I direct wired each of the three LNBFs to the wire, to the proadapter, to the receiver. Powered it up and nothing. No satellite signal found. I used the Sadoun satellite finder to peak the reception of the...

With the satellite at my back and me facing the front of the dish, the LNBFs are outboard to my right. So, I guess that's a 105. So I have a 50 50 chance of direct wiring the 119 into the pro adapter and then into the receiver.

Is the 4900 your only receiver? >YES What super dish do you have 105 or 121? >Don't know, how do I tell? Are you just using 119 & 110 or do you receive signals from another satellite location? >I believe I receive three satellites signals. I had to upgrade the dish and receivers when we...
