Ok I almost forgot that I also have cable in the house(just got the bill)... Is there a way that I can feed the tivo unit to be able to record off of both inputs... cable for locals and voom for well voom stuff.....

No I was going to ask for it but the installer just brought the 30 inch on out. I never had to say anything about it.

Could I split the signal coming from the stealth ant?? to the tivo box for the locals?

My installer put a 30 inch dish up the very first time. I am in N. Dallas Tx.

When the installer came out to install my house he brought a 30 inch dish with him. He installed that one. Even with a downpour the other night my signal was at 96. It runs at 99 durring the dry times. I could not be more happy with my 30 inch dish.

So what is the consensus.... Should I go out and get a tivo? How should I set it up for my locals?

I told the guy I wanted 2 separate lines... He told me that he ran them that way anyway.... So it worked out for me...

Well I had my install yesterday...... The guy showed up at 11. He said that he didnt have my stealth anten so he could do the install but I wouldnt get my locals until he came back and put it up. Or he could come back later and get everything installed at once. I told him it was fine to...
