so... who said anything about OLN or "Outdoor Life Network"? the on demand->All Free->Sports listing says 'Versus'. right now there are 3 categories under Versus, 'Hunters', 'Anglers' and 'Re-Play'. guess it would be a good sign if they add 'NHL'?

I've noticed that there are a couple of programs on the 'Free->Sports->Versus' on demand listings in the past couple of days... might this be an indication that we will be getting the Versus channel in time for the NHL season?

going to FIOS going to fios as soon as my nhl center ice package is finished. my brother just got it last week & is happy getting more channels & better picture for less $$$ (& nothing to buy up front). he was not so happy about having his 942 rendered worthless.

i agree that seems to be the logical choice at this point... you will have subsidized cable rates for 1 year, which should be just about enough time for the current E* insanity to have shaken out -- the marketing geniuses that came up with this 'deal' will have all been replaced by then, terms...

i would agree that most subs have no idea about the upcoming changes -- especially not if they rely on dishnetwork.com for info... click on the equipment upgrades link and you get a choice to lease the 811, 510, 301, 522, or purchase the 942. no mention at all of the 211/611.
