Even though it's 15 degrees F outside, I just installed the C140 in my dish. So far so good but I'll need to test this more. UPDATE: It did NOT fix the 5G interference problem.

Many years ago, someone sold a laser pointer mounted in the center of a plastic cup that would fit inside of the mouth of the scaler to align the feed to the center of the dish. I don't know if anyone makes that anymore.

Not much new content worth watching. I'm watching 30+ year old content. If the stream isn't free I don't watch even though I can get military and/or senior discounts.

I ordered a C140. I hope it clears up the 5G interference that I'm currently experiencing. Hopefully I'll get a couple of years use out of it.

I record to that directory but I can't delete the files via my ftp client. I can delete files on the other receiver (another osmio4k) but it has /media/usb - its group association is disk. I can log in to the problematic receiver and delete the files that way.

How do I change the group association for /media/hdd? None of the usual linux commands can change it. I was hoping for a /media/usb but got /media/hdd.

I was planning on buying the C140 but should I wait? I'd "hate" to buy one and then have to replace it within the next year.

I've never heard or seen this show. Sounds like it might be interesting. I'll have find out where it's streamed. I assume it requires a subscription.

The guy in the video said that the FCC was going to auction off the rest of C-band. If that means radio is going away then so is TVRO?

So, bye-bye to video distribution also. I guess I won't buy another LNBF tp knock out the 5G encroachment. Which means that I'm going to have to pay for subscriptions at a time when costs are going up everywhere - especially medical insurance.

The light is on but nothing gets scanned in. The cable and antenna looks OK though. The tuner menu shows a Tuner C but it's identified as an LG LGDT 3306A (enabled), ATSC terrestrial, instead of Hauppauge 955Q. Rebooting doesn't help. I wish I had an external spectrum analyzer that covers the...

It's not an address problem since I have assigned a static IP to the box. Anyway, turns out that webif works fine with http but not https. I activated https but the setting doesn't get saved in TNAP 6. https works fine on TNAP5 though.
