The 722 does not have the software to use this remote to remember the timers yet. They say soon but do not hold your breath

The new remote will not transfer timers from the 622 or 722 at this time, the software is not available yet for them. It will only work on the 722K or 222K that they come with. We are hearing they were going to upgrade the 722 and 622 soon but has not happened yet.

Ext is for recording to other devices, not the EHD. That is not an option at this time on the 622 or 722

I transfer 3-5 recordings at a time at night and I shut the receiver off/standby mode and everything is fine. Been doing this for several weeks now as i am pretty far behind on watching my shows.

No, at this time only the ones on the page are compatible and must be connected to your network

What do you mean rg9? Do you mean rg59? you should be using RG6 cable only from the switch to the receiver. On the switch output 1 goes to the power inserter then the receiver. Output 2 on the switch goes to the second receiver. The 722 has a splitter that the cable hooks to then the 2...

You need to run another RG6 cable from the switch to the 722. thats all. Then setup the 722

I don't know who re-peaked you dish or how it was done but i know doing it with meters is the only way to do it right and get good readings. You need to realign your dish. i am in st louis and I had a buddy come over and help and we realigned the dish, all reading were better and then I checked...

I just replaced a 722 for the same reason, constant rebooting. The problem is they are overheating and going out faster than normal. The unit need to be very open and not in a closed entertainment center. it also help to get a small fan for it. I would suggest you get an EHD for it so you can...
