Free DVR service
The 501 is the only receiver I have and it has been activated since it was purchased. I recently downgraded from 2 receivers. I know customer service isn't what it should be but how do you explain to the rep. that it shouldn't have a service fee? I guess I could keep calling until I get someone...- wvvw

Free DVR service
I purchased a 501 DVR in 2004 from Sears. This was prior to the DVR fee they now charge. I was supposed to have free DVR service for the life of the product but they claim this was never the case. Does anybody remember the specifics of the DVR service way back then?- wvvw
