Its a rear projection HD TV thats about 5 or 6 years old(Toshiba 42H81). All the other channels look fine; I've never had any sort of issue like this before. Any way to fix it?

You were right. I was getting signal strength of around 10 on the 129. I called Dish customer support and after a series of voice guided menus, I finally got connected to a customer service rep who was very friendly and helpful. They are sending a technician on Saturday to fix the problem.

I got Dish installed yesterday and the installer told me that the component HD output of the VIP722 would stop working in a few months and that in order to continue to get HD, I had to use the HDMI out. This sounds like BS to me, but I wanted to see if anyone else had heard anything similar.
