I use and like the SSM22 but ive broken a few do to dropping off the roof. And the side strap clips always brake. I also use and have had for a wile the old satBuddy. Unkillable. I use this meter in rain/snow storms because its waterproof(ish) The old satbuddy is only good for DISH/Directtv...

Wasnt knocking it... I was talking about another meter I have called a Sat Buddy. Its small and only really works right for DBS stuff. But they can take a beating like nothing else. SSM22's are nice but drop them off a roof once or twice and they are all done :D

Ya my dish/motor/rcvr showed up in 3 days right on time..They email you the fedex tracking number.. Only thing im ticked off about the whole deal is I didnt notice the discount in his sig and i didnt upgrade for only 15 bux to the bigger dish..oh well..guess ill just have to order another :P

Sounds like alot of work... Why not just use a signal meter set to read LNB currrent? When the motor moves the current goes up..... Even my cheap-o Sat Buddy can read LNB current.

Thats the only real thing i can think of. It motors fine between SBS 6 and G3c. But doesnt get anything on IA5. I have the lat sat for 41 on the motor. Oh well..for another day.

Look on the dieplexer... On the sat and "in/out" side it should say "DC PASS"..as long as it says that a motor should work. Im sure ALL diplexers have it.

If im doing this right I have this.. Im at 41deg N lat..so the chart says to set the dish at 40.0 Maybe my ghetto mount is flexing going that way... Ill have to pull it down and weld some cross supports on it. :confused:

I get SBS 6 fine with 99% Q on 11741 h 6616 (ONN). I can motor from there as far west as g3c 95w. After that nothing seems to line up right. Oh well..ill just powerscan what i can get and give it another go another day

ROUND II Zero'ed the motor out with the things on the bottem..didnt see a reset hole unplugged the motor from the RCVR and did a fact reset. Plugged it back in to the motor Told it to goto SBS 6..and after a wile I got it adj in by hand..Motor reads zero..set it as my ref point under...
