If it happens again, you might check for a bad connection somewhere. Could be a solder joint. If that is the case, simply melting the solder often cures the problem.

DRM is required so that they can make OTA a paid service. I believe that is the end goal. The FCC sold out most of C-Band to the cell companies, and it wouldn't surprise me if they let OTA transition to POTA (Paid Over The Air).

I just checked and I can get AT120 (without locals) and a Hopper 2 Duo for $82.99 (price guaranteed for 2 years). Also saw something about a $200 gift card? $82.99 is the same as what I am paying for YTTV. Will have to check out the channel differences. I don't need locals because I have 3 TiVos.

My Edision OS Mio failed today in the same way as Doorguru's. Same TV and HDMI cable as before when it worked. Same TNAP for the last few years. No TV firmware upgrades. The only thing that changed is that it worked a few days ago and now it doesn't.

They are about the same signal strength. But I can see how you would think the C140 has higher peaks --- the vertical scale of the graphs are different (5 dB vs 10 dB on the left side).
