The newer plans are *up to 100 Mbps* on Echostar 19, I'm on an old *up to 25 Mbps* plan pointed at Echostar 17. If a more modern Hughes setup can get me reliable streaming in 720p or 1080p as a band aid during a power outage I would consider it.

The only reason I have satellite TV and satellite internet is for back up when the power goes out. Which happens more than it should in my area because NYSEG (and RG&E) suck.
