I called Dish. CSR odered the 60.0 as a replacement. Since I had the protect plan on my account he said there will be no charge. LOL, time will tell. I bet I get a 54.0 or Dish will charge me. No telling!

No one will get one of these remotes unless you order it from Dish. It is missing some things that the 54.0 remote has. MIT is made as a big button remote for people like seniors who have trouble with the regular remote.

I understand Dish has another satellite on order, although I don't know the expected launch date or intended location. Also, I don't have a current list, but Dish typically has more than one satellite at a given location, making capacity less of an issue. The 129 slot isn't likely to be used...
