While it hasn't been that long since we signed up for dish service. we are pretty happy with them!!! the installer showed up before he was scheduled to!!! As i seen him sitting out in his van while walking my dog.. He called me on the phone and told me that he was here. I said ok and walked over to his van. He asked if that was my house and i said yes... so then he started to do the site survey. So i stopped him from doing the site survey and told him it had to go on the roof. Then we went up to the roof and then he went back down to his van after surveying the roof he built the dish.. He installed a 1000.2 dish with an LNB facing the 110 and 119 birds. Then he dropped 120FT of coax down his choice!!! While he was installing the dish i asked him how many installs he does in a day he told me one. then he said everyone's going to streaming and then told me the only people that still have sat are the old people... Then he told me that my install was odd LOL 
. I had to ask LOL.I asked why. He said that he never had a job this big before and he also said most don't sign up with owned boxes... He told me every step of the installation that he was doing and why!!! He even tucked the coax away so it could not be seen 
and ran it down nice and neat. I asked him about the oval style dish he said there not using those dishes any longer and the 129 bird has been retired
.Then told me that those were at the beginning of the HD he also said that's when he started working with dish. He even did our antenna as well... He had me plug the hopper in and let it boot up and download the software that took an HR. They had me down for a hopper with sling and a joey 3. i was like i have my own boxes. So then they modified the order. But during the activation process the system would not let em activate my acct that took an HR to get that all sorted out but it got done. I told him i didn't know why they put me down for a hopper with sling and a joey 3 when i said i had my own!!! While the hopper and joey was doing what they were supposed to be doing he even set the t.v.s up so they would tune onto the dish box and the last channel that was watched and set the diamond buttons up to do something sh*t i already forgot what he set em up to do 
.. once all of that was done he asked me if i was the only one that would be using the remote or if my gf would be to!!! I said the both of us so he showed both of us how to use the remotes how to record and delete.. and he waited 30 minutes after everything was done to see if anything would go wrong... I tipped him nicely for all of the bull he went through... After having the hopper i could never use another genie . The whole job took 4 hours..
