I don't know why I got the hopper plus. I have a hopper receiver, the hopper plus and two joeys for bedroom tv. If I take out the hopper plus box, will the joey's still work in the bedrooms? Will I still be able to record shows?

Just chatted with dish tech. Since its working right now, they can't send out a technician. Thinking seriously about going back to directv. We live in boonies, so no option for cable.

I like to watch sporting events on a delayed basis. I record the event and start watching it a little after it starts. In the last month or two, I've had difficulty trying to skip forward 30 seconds or resuming after a pause. Sometimes, rather than skipping forward 30 seconds playback goes...

Id'e call dish since you have the protection plan at no charge for 6 months and tell them what's happening.. they might do a box swap... sounds like something internal is going on in the box...
