Both Joeys are joey4's. Please excuse these stupid questions, but had directv for 30 years and am new to dish. What are the android capabilities?

yes your joeys will still work in the bedrooms and you will still be able to record and watch shows as if you were in front of the hopper. only difference is depending on what joey you have you'll loose the android capabilities

I don't know why I got the hopper plus. I have a hopper receiver, the hopper plus and two joeys for bedroom tv. If I take out the hopper plus box, will the joey's still work in the bedrooms? Will I still be able to record shows?

Just chatted with dish tech. Since its working right now, they can't send out a technician. Thinking seriously about going back to directv. We live in boonies, so no option for cable.
