the 301 and the 311 boxes looked awful!!! i liked the 4000 boxes

I was quite happy with my ViP722 boxes. Came to appreciate the HWSes that replaced them. Then I got the Hopper 3! Very happy with it. Pretty much the only reason I stay with Dish is the greatness of the H3 and the remaining recordings on it. Lost almost all EHD recordings.

No issues with our hopper 3!!! knock on wood ;)... only our 4k joey would lag alot but the joey 4 is amazing ;)

I’ve got every Dish remote I ever had, back to the 301s. Wasting space.

I always get a few spare remotes for times like these ;)

Could be remote going bad or weak batteries. I am facing similar on and off issues currently and holding out as long as I can before replacing the remote. Mine is definitely the remote. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

the zapper box is it's own animal and won't work with dish boxes or any other boxes for that matter. though you can buy mini's for the zapper box and do a whole home setup

They could have put an ATSC modulator in there but I think those used to be very expensive - hmm, even now when I search for those I see $250 - $500 price tags vs $20 for NTSC. But then you still need a cable connection at both ends and I think those are actually not that common overall - they...

Weak batteries in the remote possibly

Around 3:00pm my remote would not turnoff hopper, could not watch any recorded program (error 2429) Did all the resets unplugging ect. Called support spent 30 minutes with the first person, he first said Dish updated their software so the power button would no longer work, they either hung up...
