Wonder why vol & ch are at the top, when as most frequently-used they're better placed where the thump more natually lands when picking it up? Does it do device modes?

Thats probably some retailer selling it through amazon and the retailer does not want to be on the hook for a year for a remote, thus the 3 months through Amazon. But I am sure if you had an issue you could call DISH to get it replaced. My wife loves the remote it has become the only remote...

I am picking up with Season 4 again and gonna watch from there on out . As I was watching, I remembered that Season 4 episodes are longer than the rest.
