On my Sony, and presumably many others, you can turn that feature off. Doesn’t matter. Communicates anyway. So you just block the address at the router. I did that. But when I changed equipment, I never got around to redoing it. I don’t really care if they catch me watching Debbie Does Toledo.

I turned all that OFF on my TCL Roku tv sets. It can be done, at least on those. I just re-checked them the other day, and it remains off.

Actually our traffic is still very good. Just there is no ad revenue, so I am paying out of pocket to keep it running. :) Lots of people reading... now if we could get some more people posting.
