A couple of years ago I upgraded to Hopper Plus and quickly discovered that it needed an RF remote for several functions. That was deal-breaker for our living room system since it has multiple devices controlled by a marriage-saving Harmony One IR-only remote, so I disconnected the Plus box...

It's good to know this is not just my personal problem. The only workaround I found is to restart Joey 4 or Hopper, then Netflix plays nice but only for a day, then another reboot is needed. I do have a Roku, so I started using that as my go-to streaming device.

They were being received up until last Saturday (12/20) when the message started appearing when the station was tuned. So I don't think it is weather related. I spent several hours checking all the antenna connections when my Wife mentioned that she could no longer get the NBC news broadcasts...

They have both been encrypted for about 6 months now. If you are not getting them and were before today I am guessing the weather (snow) may have something to do with it. But we will be back in the 50's on Monday so it should ome back for you. :)

Are you receiving the stream on RF channel 33 (ATSC v3) or the WVIT signal on Channel 31 (ATSC v1)? Channel 31 does not have this issue. Ch 33 is needed, as my reception on Ch 31 is somewhat 'iffy'.. Thanx. Richard Rosa
