The Joey 4 does 4K AND HDR. One red recording light for 16 tuners?? Autohop IIRC has to be manually inserted into the video stream so it is supremely impractical to implement it on every channel and the wait times are imposed by the networks not Dishes choice.

BTY, you can also protect specific recordings with a password.

Let her record to the default drive and create a folder for the rest of the family and set your recordings to automatically go to that folder. She won't see your recordings and won't delete them.
